The Fashion Forum was held on 6 December 2016 at Gaité Lyrique. It was organized by the Ministry of Culture and Communication and the Ministry of the Economy and Finance, with the support of DEFI and the support of the French Federation of Couture, Ready-to-Wear Couturiers And Fashion Designers and the French Women's Ready to Wear Federation.

Secretary of State for Industry, are organizing the "Forum de la Mode" on Tuesday 6 December.
This very first edition, under the banner of creation and innovation, will bring together
All the players who will make the fashion of tomorrow in order to exchange on the stakes of the sector.
France is the country of fashion. This place owes it to its history, its unique heritage

The international influence of French artistic creation rests on know-how

Economical floret. Indeed, the fashion sector produces a turnover of 150 billion
€ 33 billion in exports, it generates 577,000 direct jobs, spread over
National territory.
In order to reinforce this influence and develop the cultural and economic potential of the
Fashion, the representatives of the sector work on several levers: the accompaniment of the

This day of exchanges follows the recommendations of Lyne Cohen-Solal's report on the
Mode in France presented in December 2015 to the Minister of Culture and the Minister of the Economy,
Industry and Digital. It is organized with the support of the Professional
Development of clothing (DEFI) and with the support of the Fédération Française de
Couture, Ready-to-Wear fashion designers and fashion designers
French Women's Ready-to-Wear.
